Honduran Org SHG EP COMSA

The proud history of this organic bean is rooted in the philosophy of Finca Humana, or human farm. It is a testament to the success and importance of developing and supporting Fair Trade Organic type certifications.  The father of La Finca Humana was Don Elias Sanchez, a rural school teacher who learned that his best lessons needed to be taught in the farms. He shifted Nicaraguan farmers away from harmful slash and burn policies to organic fertilization through composting pyramids in the fields. 

The finca at Cafe Organic Marcala, S.A. is both a recipient of La Finca Humana and a teacher. A portion of the proceeds of this coffee go to fund COMSA International School, ensuring that the next generation of human farmers can both  build on and innovate on Don Elias' ideas.

This bean is not an acidic coffee. It is more for the darker roast crowds. Medium roasts will be roasted darker. this is also available in a dark roast.  chocolatey.
